Helder Guimarães /

Helder Guimarães was born in 1982. Ever since he knows himself, he is a magician. He started very young with three days of life, due to his father influence (he took a photo of the baby holding a card deck). Since then, he has explored magic and at the age of three he had his first gig in his kindergarten, where he did a great premier because he made chocolates appear.
In a deeper way, he continued to study magic and at eleven years of age he won his first prize in a magic competition. During the following years, he kept gaining the respect of his peers and winning more than 15 national and international prizes, with a special mention, in 2002, to the 2nd Prize in CardMagic in the Spanish National Convention and, in 2004, the Ascanio Prize.
Together with his studies in magic he finishes a university degree in Dramatic Arts. In 2006, he was proclaimed World Champion of Card Magic. He is the author of the book Reflejos, in Spanish, which is being translated in to English and of the DVD Small Miracles, material for the serious student of the art of magic.
He travels all around the world with his magical activity, giving performances and lectures for professionals. Worth mentioning are several TV appearances and some marketing campaigns. He also consulted on magic for theatre productions. He is considered to be one of the leading experts in sleight of hand magic.
